Ingredients for batter
1. All Purpose Flour - 1 & 1/2 cups
2.Cocoa Powder - 1/2 cup
3. Salt - 1 tsp
4. Baking Soda - 1 tsp
5. Baking Powder - 1 tsp
6. Powdered Sugar - 2 cups
7. Egg - 2 nos
8. Vegetable Oil - 1/2 cup
9. Vanilla Essence - 1 tsp
10. Milk - 1 cup
11. Hot Water - 1 cup
Ingredients for frosting
1. Butter - 1/2 cup
2. Cocoa Powder - 1/4 cup
3. Powdered Sugar - 1/2 cup
4. Milk - 1/4 cup
Preparation
1. Mix all the dry ingredients ( All Purpose Flour, Cocoa Powder, Salt, Baking Powder, Baking Soda,
Powdered Sugar)
2. Add all the wet ingredients ( Egg, Milk, Vanilla Essence, Vegetable Oil, Hot water)
3. Gently blend the mix, add one cup of hot water and mix
4. Place butter paper on the cake mould and dust with flour
5.Pour the mixture to the mould
6. Bake the cake at 180 for 35 min.
7. In a large bowl beat butter until fluffy
8. Add cocoa powder, vanilla extract, salt, milk and beat until combined
9. Gradually add powdered sugar ,beat on low speed until creamy texture
10. Cut the top of the cake
11. Spread layer of frosting on the top of the cake and spread evenly
12. Refrigerate for 2-3 hours
